Episode 12 - What John Knows About Life

In this episode, John shares 11 statements of wisdom and life lessons on the eve of his 11th Birthday in his own words.

  1. Don’t get stuck on thoughts of the past, always look forward.
  2. Never give up on the things that are important to you.
  3. Aesop's fable "The Fox and Grapes"
  4. It’s okay to be sad, but don’t let it get you stuck in the mud.
  5. Always set goals or you’ll end up nowhere.
  6. Books are like scrolls of knowledge. Without them you can’t live.
  7. Play LEGO every day to keep your creative juices flowing. Don't just build, create stories.
  8. If you always live a life of anger and jealousy, your life will be short and sad.
  9. Always be kind to others, because you don’t know what they are going through.
  10. Prioritize collecting experiences over things.
  11. Life is so short, enjoy it while it lasts.

About the Podcast

What John Knows About
a podcast about everything (a 10 year old knows)
We are the lucky parents of a 10-year-old boy who is full of wonder and curiosity about the world. He's an avid reader and remembers nearly all the information that he consumes. We enjoy posing questions to him about random topics and listening to his detailed responses. Who knows? Maybe you will enjoy this, too.
